This year Morning Song’s ASI Exhibit grew from 2 booths to 6 in all. We promoted four ministries within the Morning Song group of ministries:
Morning Song Concerts, where we book Steve and other select artists, plan our national Christmas Tour and manage Friendship Evangelism Concert Series;
Morning Song eStore, where we sell the largest collection of Adventist music found anywhere,
The eStore Music Cruise, where we are taking a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean with Jennifer LaMountain and Jaime Jorge; and
Ariel-Media, our CD and DVD replication company featuring professional photography and graphic design services. The artists who joined us this year were Jennifer LaMountain, Vonda Beerman, Christine Sinclair, Jaime Jorge, Katherine Morua, and Marie Lajic.

Babbie Mason (right) is my all time favorite song writer. I met her years ago at Estes Park, Colorado and have recorded four of her songs, “Each One Reach One”; “You Have A Way With Words”; “What Can Separate You”; and “In All Of His Glory”. Babbie invited me to teach at her artist retreat held at her home in Morrow, Georgia called
Inner Circle back on June 7, 2008. It was a blast! I also met famed Motown recording artist, Vernessa Mitchell (left). We had a blast as the three of us played pretend American Idol judges during the afternoon of performances by the registrants. ”I don’t think I look like Simon!” But we loved bringing encouragement and sharing our journey in ministry with the 100 who attended.

I met Babbie Mason in 1987 when I competed at the Estes Park Christian Artists’ Talent Competitions. She was one of my judges. A few years later we met a GMA Convention and she gave me a homemade cassette of her song, Each One Reach One, which I recording the following year. A few years past and I invited her to come and teach and perform at my artist retreat in NW Arkansas called, Christian Music Etc. What a pleasure it’s been for me to have recorded several of her songs, including “What Can Separate You?” on my latest CD. Babbie lives here in Atlanta and I am honored to have been invited to be a presenter at her artist retreat called, Inner Circle. The dates are June 6-7, 2008. Pray for me as I share and mentor others in music ministry.
